Click-to-Run is a Microsoft streaming and virtualization technology that reduces the time that is required to install Office and helps you run multiple versions of Office on the same computer. Microsoft has removed the MSI installer from Office 2019. Only Click-to-Run installer is available. According to Microsoft: With Office 2019, we’re moving the on-premises versions of Office to C2R to reduce costs and improve security.

The following Office 2010 products are kept up to date automatically by using a technology called Click-to-Run.

• Office Home and Business 2010

• Office Home and Student 2010

• Office Starter 2010

The most current version of Office 2010 is 14.0.7249.5000, which was released on May 12, 2020.

To check your version of Office, do the following:

1. Open any Office 2010 application, such as Word or Excel.

2. Choose File > Help.

3. Under Click-to-Run Product Updates, note the version number that is listed.

   If the version number matches the most current version, you're up to date. If not, you can manually update to get the latest version of Office 2010. To update Office, follow these steps.
